WHY SCUBA DIVE?

Scuba Diving is the fastest growing recreational sport in America today. Millions of people are experiencing the beauty, excitement, and freedom of the underwater world. They are also finding that it is a great way to relieve stress and enjoy nature. As a certified Scuba Diver you could be a Part of the fun. Imagine; Treasure Hunting, Wreck Diving, Deep Diving, Fish watching, Underwater Photography, and much, much more!

If this sounds interesting, then SCUBA is for you. Learning to Scuba Dive is easy and fun. If you like the water, you will love SCUBA.

AM I TO YOUNG?

Probably not; you must be at least 10 years old to become a certified Scuba Diver.

AM I TO OLD?

No! If you are comfortable in the water, then you are not too old.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

We meet for 5 sessions, usually once a week. However, since we only offer private lessons we can work with you to set up a schedule that will meet your needs as well as our needs.

WHAT WILL IT COST?

Our PADI Open Water Diver Course is $700.00 (private lessons)

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE COURSE?

YOUR COURSE FEE INCLUDES:

1. PADI Certification Card

2. All air fills

3. All Instructor Fees

4. PADI Open Water Diver Manual (yours to keep)

5. PADI Recreational Dive Planner (yours to keep)

6. PADI Diver’s Log Book (yours to keep)

7. Rental of SCUBA equipment needed for Pool training

8. Rental of SCUBA equipment needed for Open Water Training Dives

    (Including: Regulator, Air Tank, Buoyancy Control Device-BCD, Weight System & Weights)

At H&R SCUBA we use only Halcyon high quality premium dive gear and regulators for our training systems. This is the same equipment used by many of the world’s best divers, Explorers, Wreck divers, Deep ocean divers, Cave divers, National Geographic Video Documentation divers, and many regular divers just like us. Learning to dive with the best equipment makes diving easier, safer, and more fun.

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE COURSE?

YOU MUST PROVIDE YOUR OWN:

1. Gear Bag, Mask, Snorkel, Fins, Wetsuit, Boots

2. Transportation

3. Modest Swimsuit & Towel

4. Pool Fees & Entry fees for the Open Water Training Dives

PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) is the largest diver training organization in the world. PADI is the leader in diver training, setting standards, creating support materials, maintaining records, training and certifying instructors, etc. Because PADI is worldwide, you can be confident that your PADI certification card will be instantly recognized anywhere you dive. At H&R SCUBA we are PADI trained and teach PADI courses.
